Irwin Stromeyer, Founder, Sterile Space Infection Defense, LLC, was a guest on The Round Table Talk Show with Host Sharifah Hardie where he highlighted an array of safety precautions people can take to reduce the spread of germs and disease during the coronavirus pandemic. Stromeyer is an expert in the field of public infection control and microbe eradication.
During the show, Stromeyer explained how his business, Sterile Space Infection Defense, LLC, helps facilities decontaminate, terminally disinfect and treat surfaces with a long-lasting antimicrobial coating to inactivate microbes that may take over and recolonize on surfaces. Sterile Space uses a specialized antimicrobial coating on these surfaces to aid against the survival of invasive microbes. “Our services are effective against a microbes ability to survive, thrive and re-colonize your surfaces,” Stromeyer remarked. “If you damage the host microbe’s ability to survive, then you severely limit the virus’ ability to survive, thrive and colonize. Stromeyer explained there are different precautions individuals can take to protect themselves and others against the spread of disease such as the frequent use of face masks and gloves while in public, as well as frequent hand washing. These tactics are purposeful in reducing the opportunity of contracting infections, but does not entirely negate it. “The whole point is to minimize,” Stromeyer emphasized.
